I absolutely love these binoculars. Looking at planes in the sky I can see the details in the aircraft. Its a great purchase!! Thank you

I’m very impressed with these binoculars. I’ve been a nature lover, birder, and soccer fan for many years. Had several binoculars over the years, this pair works well, had a great feel and grip, and with12 power brings subject up close without too much image shake. Can’t really have just one binocular for all uses! This pair is perfect for in car or stadium use, also short walks…have a light weight pair for long hikes and carries. The cost of these Bushnell Engage units is remarkably low and they compete with much higher priced glasses!

I had a good Bushnell binocular with a smaller magnification and I was looking forward to seeing how the higher power of these would perform. There’s a canyon behind my house and we have long vistas out into the distance where we can watch hawks and other birds, see the landscape, etc. These binoculars do a good job on clear magnification. At this power, it’s hard for me to hold them steady enough for the shake of the images to not be distracting. That’s not the fault of the binoculars, but it does say it’s not always good to have more power if it’s not really needed.
These come with a quality soft case, a microfiber bag, attached end caps and a single piece eyepiece cover. I put a zip tie to hold my eyepiece cover to the neckstrap loop connector so I can flip them off and they hang from the body of the binoculars. A quality neck loop is included.
I have two issues with these binoculars that keep me from giving them a five star rating. The first is that I found it hard to get the tubes close together enough to let my vision find a single view window. I had to slide the end cap holders up to create a little more range of tube motion. It works, but it’s close and I have what I think is an average sized face, so I imagine this could be a large issue for some users. The other issue is that my binoculars came to me without the working lock mechanism for the right eye fine adjustment. You’re supposed to be able to adjust the optics in the up position and then put the ring in the down position to lock it. Mine adjust but there’s no room to press the ring down and lock it. The ring won’t lift up or lock down. My other Bushnells have the same feature so I know how it works. I called the company (which took a long time to get through to a person) and that wasn’t a great experience, but they did agree to provide a shipping label for me to send the binoculars in for what would be a several week repair. I decided it wasn’t worth the trouble and time. It would have been better if they’d sent me a correct product and had me send the defective one back. Better yet, for a product in this price range, get your quality control to the level that you don’t ship a defective product. There are other options in good binoculars, so there’s no excuse for poor quality control.

Have a pair of Nikon 10×50 prostaff.. and a Bushnell Engage pair. the engage are sharper and snap into focus better. The nikons are somewhat mushy to focus. About equivalent prices, too. Bushnell is more compact and solid, so i guess the nikons are all plastic… better caps on the Bushnells too.
