So far they have been great for what we intend them to be used for, excellent visual clarity, even in low light, rugged and sturdy, seems they will last a long time! Great value for the money so far. Will update if anything changes.

    2. dave gillespie

My office is near the Hudson River and these are great for checking out the passing boats. While I work of course!

    3. Erick

This is a good binoculars, my wife has a Pentax Papilio II which she loves, she admired how bright it is when she looked into the Engage the first time.

I took the advantage of Nature Optix’s low price and 5% discount, it was a great buy!

    4. PasoCreek

My mother has owned a high powered and very expensive pair of Bushnell binoculars for the past 25 years. They have been all over the world in all sorts of climates and still look and work great. The Engage Bushnell binoculars seem to be made to the same high standards. They are anti fog, dust sealed and have a fully layered coating of the lens. There is also the ability to attach to a tripod with the correct attachment. What I love most about this pair is they are more of an all round binocular. I like that these will be much easier to take to the park or on a trip, but still be high quality in the optics. This pair lets in a great deal of light and makes it very easy to see into bush and tree cover from a distance. I did my best to take a picture of how well I was able to look into a shadowed area of my yard. I was able to adjust the diopter for my right eye then lock it and forget it. How great is that? The Engage is full of all sorts of great features for the price.

    5. Wisewo1f

It’s a bit heavier than I expected but the quality is great, I use them for animal and bird watching seem like a good purchase so far

    6. BEN BALDWIN

They are just amazing binoculars the glass is so clear I would put them up against binoculars that cost thousands they are that good.

    7. Anthony Eldridge

      Perfect

    8. Neil E Rutan

These are very nice binoculars – they are very similar to the Legend L series in terms of the construction. These have better glass, however. Field of view is the best I have seen for an 8x, at 426′. I like the rubber molded grip surface, however, I can tell that it will scratch easy. It won’t affect performance, but if you are picky about stuff like that it might bug you a little bit. The low light performance is very good, as is the center clarity. The clarity toward the edges begins to diminish, however. There is *some* chromatic aberration, however it isn’t noticeable unless you are really looking for it and have a trained eye to see it, and even then only in very bright high contrast lighting. I think for this price point, Bushnell ought to offer their lifetime warranty, not the limited warranty that it has. The Legend Ultra HD’s and Legend M series have the unconditional warranty, and they are currently at a lower price point. The eyecups twist easily, but don’t seem as sturdy or well designed as those from other companies such as Nikon or Vortex. I think they will work fine, however. They are light weight and pretty compact. Overall I like them a lot. Biggest gripe is the warranty. Vortex, Nikon, Burris and many others offer unlimited warranties with all their products. Get with the times Bushnell!

Worth twice what I paid for them compared to other brands.

    10. Thomaas

It took me a long time looking up reviews of a number of different models and brands of binoculars before I finally settled on these, and I have no regrets.

With proper adjustment, you can look at things that are within roughly 8 feet of you. Much closer than that and they’ll start getting blurry, but these weren’t made for looking at something that is already close enough to touch. I used these to look at the moon and I saw craters that I never knew existed before. The image is clear, even in fairly low-light conditions, and everybody who has looked through mine has had nothing but good things to say. You get what you pay for with a pair of binoculars like these.

    11. Luis L.

This is my first pair of binoculars and I’m very impressed with the quality of them and the clarity of the lens I have no reference but I’m very happy with my purchase and I highly recommend them.

    12. Raymond

I received a pair of Bushnell Engage Binoculars, Matte Black in exchange for an honest review.

I’m a huge fan of telescopes and binoculars (wasn’t the eclipse amazing!?) so I own several telescopes and one other good pair of binoculars.

The Bushnell line have always had a reputation for fine products and these are no different. The Bushnell Engage have exceptional quality glass for a crystal clear view.

The material is smooth and comfortable to hold for long sessions of star gazing, bird watching, or watching the Seahawks win at Century Link Field.

They come with carrying case, lens caps and a strap.

The Bushnell Engage Binoculars are an easy recommendation.
